Carolin Bohlman

Carolin Bohlmann is a conservator for modern and contemporary art at Hamburger Bahnhof –
Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin. She did her PhD in Art History on painting techniques. Her research focuses
on the conception of light in painting, art-technology and conservation theory. She has done many exhibition projects on the preservation of contemporary art. In 2013 she restored Joseph Beuys Richtkräfte für eine neue
Gesellschaft (1974-76), publicly conducted together with Ina Hausmann und Eva Riess in the exhibition rooms of Hamburger Bahnhof (published in 2015). Latest projects include the exhibition series Marzona A-Z (2014-16, Hamburger Bahnhof) and the organisation of the symposium “Process Art and the Museum” (2016, Hamburger Bahnhof), together with Angela Matyssek.
